Across rural communities, a new generation of filmmakers is rising. Many of them will begin their journey through visionary programs like SWIFT!– Student Working in Film Today.

SWIFT! students learn about film by actively participating in the creative process that brings stories to life. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and real production experiences, students gain the skills and confidence needed to work in today’s media and entertainment industry.

From writing and directing to camera operation, editing, and production support, SWIFT! students are developing the practical knowledge that prepares them for careers in film, television, and digital media. Many of these young creatives are now contributing to film projects, assisting on productions, and participating in film festival programming.
